Ken Benson (Ken Maynard) is trying to prevent the unlawful killing of wild horses, but his boss, ranch owner Pat Riley (Myrna Kennedy), wants to oust him because he's a bit ornery. Steve Frazier (Niles Welch), a meat magnate, is profiting by illegally killing the horses, and he's furious when it appears that a feral horse called Tarzan has freed some animals headed for his slaughterhouse. As Pat comes to understand Ken's mission, they band together to save the horses.
