Farah R What a major disappointment this film turned out to be. The ratings and reviews misled me to believe it was worth my time, but alas, I had to find out the hard way that it's nothing more than a teenage fantasy about werewolves. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Miranda G Love, love, LOVE this movie. So beautiful for a low budget film. A must see for any Angela Carter fan. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/02/24 Full Review Alec B Jordan exposes how fairy tales often betray a culture's hang-ups. Here he lets the Little Red Riding Hood's mythos run wild, finding ways to examine and undermine it while delivering some top notch imagery. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/08/24 Full Review Audience Member What the actual hell was this movie? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/30/23 Full Review Courtney K i read a review that said don't judge the movie by the cover art, lol -- the cover art is literally a scene from the movie. it's exactly what you think it's going to be. it's a fun little twist on the whole red riding hood story, but i don't think i would recommend it to anyone on purpose. I'm appalled Angela Lansbury is in it, albeit she was the best part. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Budd Wilkins Slant Magazine Neil Jordan’s film is a delightfully perverse reworking of the traditional fairy tale. Dec 11, 2022 Full Review Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times It is not a children's film and it is not an exploitation film; it is a disturbing and stylish attempt to collect some of the nightmares that lie beneath the surface of "Little Red Riding Hood." Rated: 3/4 Oct 23, 2004 Full Review Eddie Harrison film-authority.com '...the horror is real, but comes from a different source that other films; the imagery is re-set from a feminist POV, and that gives The Company of Wolves a unique flavour...' Rated: 4/5 Jan 9, 2024 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy Feminism meets Freud meets fractured fairy tales in The Company of Wolves, one of the finest of all werewolf flicks. Rated: 3.5/4 Nov 25, 2022 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins While the main premise is imaginative and amusingly uncanny, the execution stumbles from time to time, drawing out the moments in which the gore and body-horror special effects can resurface to keep up the pacing and shocks. Rated: 7/10 Sep 22, 2022 Full Review Alan Jones Starburst There's a beauty and lyricism ever present in The Company of Wolves that is winningly effective. Aug 2, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews
