Brian Glover was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1985, he played God in the Royal National Theater version of the Mystery Plays. He raised in Barnsley, England. In 1992, he performed the role of Buckingham in a touring production of "Richard III." Glover kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Kes" (1970) with Lynne Perrie, the John Wayne action movie "Brannigan" (1975) and "Sweeney" (1976). He also appeared in the comedy "A Choice of Weapons" (1976) with John Mills, "Jabberwocky" (1977) and the Sean Connery action film "The First Great Train Robbery" (1979). His film career continued throughout the eighties and the nineties in productions like the Richard Burton drama "Absolution" (1988), "To Kill a Priest" (1989) with Christopher Lambert and the dramatic fantasy "Kafka" (1991) with Jeremy Irons. He also appeared in the Sigourney Weaver action flick "Alien3" (1992). In the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in the Mark Frankel comedy "Leon the Pig Farmer" (1993), the action picture "Royal Deceit" (1994) with Gabriel Byrne and "Bob's Weekend" (1996). He also appeared in "Up 'n' Under" (1998) with Gary Olsen. Glover was most recently credited in the comedy "Stiff Upper Lips" (1999) with Peter Ustinov. Glover passed away in July 1997 at the age of 63.
