Alicia Silverstone found teenage fame with Clueless in 1995, but in the decades since, she has never truly clicked as the lead in a series. That changes with her holding-it-all-together performance in this expatriate mystery... Go to Full Review

Amidst all the mystery and mayhem lies a surprisingly heartfelt story about family finding each other, how the past will eventually catch up with you, and how to forge a path forward amidst family hurt and wreckage. Go to Full Review

There’s a fair amount of traditional Hollywood-ised Irish character tropes and American visitor "experiences", but they’re tempered by some intriguing narrative twists and turns and a terrific performance from Silverstone. Go to Full Review

The tone of Irish Blood is so inconsistent, it’s difficult to tell if it’s supposed to be a comedy, a drama, a comedy-drama, a thriller or a comedy-thriller. Ultimately, It’s a little bit of all of those and not particularly good at being any of them. Go to Full Review

This is the kind of crime drama reminiscent of the staples that once dominated cable TV––familiar, steady, and still quietly popular even if they don't generate much pop-culture buzz anymore. Go to Full Review

Alicia Silverstone is great in this, and the cast is top-notch, but the writing fails the show at every turn. Go to Full Review

Greg M @GreggoM Jan 11 Alicia Silverstone great. Other cast members really ordinary acting. This is the problem with majority of series these days. Mmmerrh See more Andrea C @AndreaCombs7271 Oct 21 Alicia Silverstone is amazing in this role. I love the pace of the storyline and to me it’s believable as well as relatable. It’s a peek into the Irish way of life and culture with funny twists entwined with realistic characters. Completely captivating! Must see! See more Moira K @M.Buff Sep 18 I wondered whether anyone with any knowledge of Ireland, Gaelic, Irish names etc, put this together. Considered watching it until I saw the lead character's name... Fiona is Scottish NOT Irish. (They aren't all the same, by the way.) Little details make a big difference. Call me pedantic, but a person of Irish heritage would not give his/her daughter a Scottish name. Very badly researched and incredibly offputting. I might have a peek at some point, just out of curiosity. I realise this is not a proper review, but poor research can say a quite a lot about the quality and/or contents of a TV series or movie, strange though it may seem. See more George R Sep 18 Having only watched the first episode (since it was free on Prime), I can't speak for the whole series but it was intriguing enough to make me buy the season for $9.99. I'm interested to see how far down the rabbit hole this mystery will go. Fresh idea on mystery, crime and a helping of dysfunctional family drama. See more John M @Mack33 Sep 12 Four episodes in and the writing and acting just keeps getting worse along with the story line. I love anything Irish and it keeps me watching, but this is a really bad series. See more Gene C Sep 12 I absolutely love this show and so excited for season 2 🎉 See more Read all reviews
