Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, The Night Agent is a sophisticated, character-based, action-thriller centering on a low level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings -- until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast-moving and dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.

Gabriel Basso’s action thriller isn’t a hit by accident. And in Season 3, it’s firing on all cylinders. That's a star right there. Go to Full Review

Buoyed by the best ensemble of new supporting players for the show to date, the third season of ‘The Night Agent' is arguably the best. Go to Full Review

Ultimately, The Night Agent Season 3 is just good espionage, political plotting, and aggressive displays of power. Go to Full Review

The Night Agent is still perfectly good “watch while doing laundry” TV, but it feels like the third season is even more lunkheaded than the first two, and the absence of Buchanan is huge. Go to Full Review

While Netflix renewed The Night Agent for a third season before the second debuted, I am convinced the reception for this new batch of episodes will secure a fourth season for Peter Sutherland and the Night Action team. Go to Full Review

In Season 3, the storyline takes a U-turn, abandoning the high-stakes story of a compromised president and effectively neutering the show. Go to Full Review

Brandon G. @BeerandonGee 1d Yeah, season 3 is the one. if you like high octane, high stress, thought provoking espionage shows, you are going to REALLY like season 3 of the night agent. They finally got it right, and boy is it fan freakin tastic. Season 1 was nice, but it merely whet the appetite. Season 2 upped the ante a bit, but i was left wanting for more. Then finally, season 3 gets it right. THIS is what us “spy”, political, espionage fans have been asking for. I thought i’d miss Rose, but i completely forgot about her this ENTIRE season. Seasons 1 and 2 made Rose and Peter the focal point. Both seasons were spent with our 2 lovebirds mainly running away from getting killed. In season 3, there’s no Rose, and Peter is an established agent. We get him working with a few other agents attempting to take down some big fish. Every character you grow an attachment to. Instead of focusing on Rose and Peter, you get a hefty handful of other characters that you get invested in, and it’s great. Then there are the “villains”. Is it the president? Maybe FLOTUS? How about the broker? At one point, i even thought; maybe Adam is a double agent because he’s also good friends with POTUS, who may very much so be compromised? Who is this assassin that happens to be a father, and has a son that cares deeply for him? There’s character development, side stories, drama, deaths, mystery, violence - everything. Congrats to the writers and everyone else on the team. You guys absolutely knocked it out of the park with The Night Agent season 3. This show is quickly becoming a crowd favorite for netflix. Im certain that a season 4 will be made, and when it does, i PRAY it’s at least half as good as season 3. This is a show you do NOT want to miss. See more Adam B @Sissi001011 1d Really good ! I am hoping for a season 4 ! See more Tom E. @BigRed118 1d The quality of season 3 was solid, which I was happily surprised to see. Clever, polished, kept it interesting the whole way through. Well done. I was worried the show might suffer without Rose, but she's not missed at all and barely mentioned. No wasted scenes or dialogue, and a couple plot twists you won't see coming. I like Peter's new reporter sidekick. See more Gary W @Garythesnake 2d My heart is still pounding! This show is an absolute thrill ride from start to almost finish. I was so excited to recommend it to everyone, but the ending felt rushed and a bit disappointing. Still worth watching though! See more Read all reviews
