Any thoughtful treatment of the immigrant experience it might have to offer is overwhelmed by the sheer silliness of the main story. Go to Full Review

Though it doesn’t always snap together perfectly -- as engaging as the series is, it’s also thoroughly preposterous -- the show will definitely keep audiences tethered to their screens. Go to Full Review

It’s a bluntly entertaining, thoroughly disposable series nestled partway between prestige antihero drama and enjoyably brainless pulp, not quite providing the pleasures of either but not exactly failing at its mid-level aspirations. Go to Full Review

Built around Shannon Gisela as the Etta Tiger Jonez, M.I.A. offers a compelling central character to follow as it descends into the criminal world undergirding the glitz and glamour of Miami. Go to Full Review

"M.I.A" is a time filler, one of those series put on for background sound. It proves predictable and none too compelling. Go to Full Review

Messy, violent, emotional and often wildly entertaining. The writing, world-building and emotional setup all leave you wanting more seasons, more stories and more time with these characters. Go to Full Review

Staci J @RT44782236 12h Exciting 1st episode. Character development spans the season. Downshifts a little then the plot thickens, Carmen’s back story is given. Characters develop. Excellent set up and plot twist for season 2. Elias’ character is promising! Is it a bit unrealistic? Probably but what show these days isn’t? I hope it’s renewed! See more Jeff S @jds_global May 23 An unwatchably bad plot unpinned by one-dimensional characters that are only made worse by the horrible acting. We watched for 2 1/2 episodes hoping that at some point it would get better…it got worse! We finally pulled the pin … See more Jessa T. @RT62255966 May 22 Excuse my language but are you f ing kidding me with that first episode?!?!? wow! So so so so good and so so so so sad and so so so so violent. JUST WOW. I think my husband and I just sat there in silence for like five minutes afterwards just taking it all in. Love Danay Garcia. She’s unbelievably talented especially having to take on two different roles in the show. No complaints from me. See more Danielle S @RT57786370 May 21 Great Tv Show Hopefully we can a season two! See more Ken D @mynameisken May 18 I’m so sick and tired of child leads in action or fantasy series where kids mess everything up and have insane powers. Like Stranger Things, Harry Potter, Wednesday and so on... It gets so old. See more Read all reviews
