Youtube the official DC account posted something with the photo of this Superboy (who has Kon looks yet is Jon) and had the name KON-EL on it and to the side it said "Clone" (clearly referring to actual Conner Kent, not Jonathan). On X AdultSwim posted something with the poster of MAWS with Jon on it and the tweet said "Meet Kon El", though they quickly corrected it but many people saw it anyways. And in an official article Jon was called Kon El and it was never corrected. I grew up it Big 4 all mean a lot to me, but Superman feels like a moral compass, not just a cool costume.Yes, it cheesy, romcom & horny. It’s kid-friendly PG-13, and that’s the point. It’s called My Adventures for a reason: a modern, millennial Superman story that knows fun doesn’t mean shallow, and comic accuracy isn’t the only way to respect the character. What has become very apparent in Season 3 is - showrunners and producers maintain only the most shallow knowledge of the DC source material - showrunners and producers care little for fans of the original material or beloved characters (note: just because it might be sold as "Elseworlds," license has NOT been given to screw up as badly as you have- that’s arrogance we see in the show, not "agency"). - show staff concoct story beats in the vacuum of a writers room, where "clever" plot concepts seem valid, away from fan scrutiny or a holistic market viewpoint - somehow, showrunners have doubled down on annoying Toonami/anime tropes- from character design to character arcs (note: Terminator/Future Trunks "homages" aren’t cool… they’re idiotic). Enough… Shinichiro Watanabe will not be giving you an autograph, no matter how Shonen you make this show. - even the core audience of tweeners will be exiting shortly. All others: abandon this show.
