[Rooster] captures a blend of comedic, sometimes absurd scenarios – consistent with Hiaasen’s Florida-based satire – with a grounded, emotional core, particularly focusing on the father-daughter dynamic. Go to Full Review

Lawrence and his writers are veteran joke-tellers, and the cast is deep with actors who can ably deliver one-liners, Go to Full Review

I'm not going to say it's as good as Shrinking. But that's an extremely high bar. I did enjoy it quite a lot. Go to Full Review

Sure, there’s perhaps a little too much a similarity to Shrinking in the set-up and central relationships, but Carell and Clive, in particular, help ensure the dynamic is sufficiently different for audiences to thoroughly enjoy both. Go to Full Review

I get that it's a comedy, and I get that people make bad choices in comedy. But there is no accountability here. There are no consequences. It becomes-- and I don't think it's doing this intentionally-- it becomes kind of a satire of privilege. Go to Full Review

Esra Y @RT95409318 1d Steve Carrell charm is real idk if i'd enjoy the show as much as i do without him. Very sweet comedy. I hate the portrayal of affair tho. Who would welcome a married older man getting pregnant your young phd student daughter? No one other than the girl's roommate seemed to vocal about her making one huge mistake after another. See more Tom M. @tmccool1 1d This series is a slow build. So much of the drama is understated and the comedy is low key. It’s not laugh out loud funny, more of an amused chuckle. I just watched episode 8 and it’s the best so far. The ensemble is clicking. Can’t wait for the next episode. See more suzy G @RT40159603 1d So funny! I love that I caught myself laughing out loud many times! Don't miss this show! See more G M @gmrn1994 2d it's ok - an easy background watch while you do other things See more mark G @Mark_Alan_G. 2d What am I missing here? This show sucks. The writing is below average at best and the episodes are just pure fluff. I absolutely love Steve Carell, but this is so inferior to his previous show. See more ARNEZ C. @Arny6tearz 2d I'm really enjoying this This has to be corral at his best so funny and entertaining give me those office vibes See more Read all reviews
