Lawrence and his writers are veteran joke-tellers, and the cast is deep with actors who can ably deliver one-liners, Go to Full Review

I'm not going to say it's as good as Shrinking. But that's an extremely high bar. I did enjoy it quite a lot. Go to Full Review

Its diversionary delights are about creating a world you want to spend some time in because it makes you smile, laugh and occasionally go, "no, no, you should not be tongue-kissing that or any dog". Go to Full Review

I get that it's a comedy, and I get that people make bad choices in comedy. But there is no accountability here. There are no consequences. It becomes-- and I don't think it's doing this intentionally-- it becomes kind of a satire of privilege. Go to Full Review

...Rooster employs a Gilmore Girls-esque structure, presenting the parent-daughter bond as a shield against the world, but here used in a dark comedy style. And that's where this series finds its greatest strength...[Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Andrea T @RT95293207 2h Slow to start, but stick w it! Classic Steve Carroll humor, but when you add in a dynamic supporting cast and clever writing you get a terrific show. The number of times I've gasped at a twist in the plot that I should have seen coming but didn't think they would actually go there, is ridiculous. Give it a go, you'll be looking forward to Sunday for a whole other reason than church or football. 😁 See more Michael M. @SpideyJ 12h Fantastic. Great cast, great writing, heartfelt. Just what I needed. See more Blake B @RT14775862 1d I would watch Steve Carrell in basically anything, but this is especially good. Lawrence does not miss at making funny crowd pleasers that also warm the heart. I like that this is a little more risque than his other works like Ted Lasso and Shrinking. See more Michael G @crunchyfrog 1d The quirkiness of the characters is so forced it's almost painful. It's obviously trying to become another Shrinking, but it's nowhere near that level of entertaining, despite the likeable cast. See more Timothy S. @TJSubject 3d It's alright I guess... The series really reminds me of MURDERS IN THE BUILDING... It's ok nothing great See more Martin S @Martinex 5d This is the funniest, smartest comedy I've seen in years. So good to see Steve Carrell back in the saddle again. See more Read all reviews
