An American adaptation of the Israeli show of the same name, "Euphoria" follows the troubled life of 17-year-old Rue, a drug addict fresh from rehab with no plans to stay clean. Circling in Rue's orbit are Jules, a transgender girl searching for where she belongs; Nate, a jock whose anger issues mask sexual insecurities; Chris, a football star who finds the adjustment from high school to college harder than expected; Cassie, whose sexual history continues to dog her; and Kat, a body-conscious teen exploring her sexuality. As the classmates struggle to make sense of their futures, the series tackles the teenage landscape of substance-enhanced parties and anxiety-ridden day-to-day life with empathy and candor.

So far sooo good; the show has reinvented itself but for the better. It doesn't have the same plot line as earlier with drugs & fuckups but you see unique story telling that you don't find in any other show and that's what mad euphoria good in the first place. I don't get these people with their negative reviews but till where I have seen this new season, ending an episode with faye's lips at the cliffhanger is the epitome of cinema. lol

By far the best season so far. I thought the other seasons were okay, but this one is more my speed. It's more a western crime drama, than an angst filled teen drama, and I love the change of pace. I'm actually eagerly awaiting new episodes, which is a first. It's def a departure from the first two seasons, probably why everyone hates it.

I'm surprisingly enjoying this season. Everyone seemed ready to trash it, but it feels refreshing. No, the characters aren't still in high school 7 years after the first season aired -- and that's okay! We're getting beautiful visuals and a story that I'm interested in seeing where it goes.
