The stylised visual palette speaks to Maul’s tortured extremes, which is helpful because the writing doesn’t add a great deal to a character who has most often been a menacing adversary. It’s one for the dedicated fans.

Maul Shadow Lord is awesome so far. Best Star Wars show and Star Wars Content I have ever seen. Better than clone wars and andor. My favorite Star Wars character is cooking with hallway scenes and in his peak. And the supporting cast like Devon,Daki,and Lawson are so cool. The animation is sick. The fight scenes are great the story’s great I’m glued to every second of this. If you don’t watch this than your 100% missing out.

Builds up convincingly, step by step, with a real multitude of compelling characters. By episode six it’s in full on thrills mode and is as good as the best of The Clone Wars. Extra points for its neo noir vibe.

We’ve been itching for more Star Wars content and we get to follow a fan favorite character. Maul had absolutely no place showing up in the end of Solo but I’m glad to finally know what he was doing during his time as a crime lord.

This is the best thing to come out of Star Wars since Clone Wars. Bad Batch was good, but let’s be honest: Sith? Jedi? That’s what people want to see. Filoni is going to single-handedly save live action Star Wars, and this show serves as the latest example of his prowess as a director. He truly loves and understands what makes this IP beat. He’s a fan, like us, and that’s what makes almost anything he touches within SW special. I don’t know if we need more Maul, but whatever Filoni chooses to focus on next, I’m sure will be equally amazing!
