A century before the events of "Game of Thrones," two unlikely heroes wander Westeros. In an adaption of George R. R. Martin's novella "The Hedge Knight," a young and naive but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall, and his diminutive squire, Egg, face a series of dangerous exploits. Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne and images of the last dragon have not yet passed from living memory, great destinies and powerful foes await these improbable and incomparable friends.

This is just an incredible new series! I had trepidations at first but that quickly passed...I already like the plot and actors better than The House of the Dragon,which is saying a lot for me,because I love Dragons! ..AAA+++!!!..Stream and watch this immediately,highest recommendations!

A breath of fresh air taken tentatively by old GoT fans. A knight of the Seven Kingdoms does everything well... so far. Excellent writing, acting, cinematography, costuming, and sound design... The thought, 'how will they screw it up' silently lingers in the back of the franchise fan's mind...

Brilliant, character driven series. It's quiet but just draws you in and you really get to know the characters. Different from GOT but a lovely difference 🤎 the actors are perfect for the roles, they've got it right this time
