The show leans heavily into a soft-porn style aesthetic—lingering camera shots, seductive glances, and over-the-top “forbidden attraction” moments that feel plucked straight from a paperback beach read. The girl-on-girl subplots are more stylized and sensational than emotional, clearly designed for shock value rather than substance. That said, there’s something about its mix of Southern opulence, dark secrets, and absurd drama that keeps it entertaining. The cast plays their roles with just enough self-awareness to make it feel intentional—like everyone knows they’re in a glossy soap opera about lust and power. It’s trash TV done well—not groundbreaking, not subtle, but undeniably fun if you lean into its camp. Verdict: As trashy thrillers go, it’s worth a watch—especially if you enjoy scandal, betrayal, and a steady stream of “did they really just do that?” moments.
