The show probably should have hung up its hat a season or two earlier—but it’s never easy to say goodbye, a sentiment that the Stranger Things finale ultimately proved. Go to Full Review

If nothing else, Stranger Things’ operatic exit serves as a reminder familiarity needn’t be a bad thing when executed with such earnest conviction, and that each generation needs -- even deserves -- its own band of heroic nerds to root for. Go to Full Review

No matter how weak the dialogue or how many plot holes you encounter, you’ll always go back for more. This is why it’s so disappointing that the show never quite delivers on its promises. Go to Full Review

Sorcha T @RT19718190 1h This season only makes sense if you ignore everything that happened in previous seasons, episodes and sometimes even scenes. The Duffers retcon anything just so they can do something easy. The villain only has powers when the writers need him to, the monsters suddenly become weak when facing a main character. They fill entire episodes with sub plots and characters that go nowhere, like Linda Hamilton’s military thing. They also give us one of the worst coming out scenes, which is so confusing cause Robin’s in S3 was so good. Most of the actors are entirely checked out, especially Millie Bobby Brown and Finn Wolfhard, and I really can’t blame them. See more Vlogsoryx T. @Ravid 21h The writing this entire season felt painfully stilted and awkward, like the characters were being forced to say lines that no real person would ever say. So much of the dialogue was genuinely cringeworthy. I’ve seen fan theories on TikTok with more emotional depth and narrative coherence than what we actually got onscreen. It’s honestly embarrassing that a show with this kind of budget and legacy delivered something that felt so amateur at times. What’s even more frustrating is how much screen time was completely wasted. The focus on the new kids and Holly felt unnecessary and bloated, especially when the show failed to properly wrap up the arcs of the original characters we’ve been invested in for years. There are still unresolved plot holes and dangling storylines, and instead of addressing them, the season just meandered. It felt like the writers lost track of what actually mattered. See more Nic K @Christfker 1d Season 1 - amazing. Season 2 - pretty good, but not as great. Season 3 - spy kids for older teens. Season 4 - didn't finish it. Season 5 - don't want to watch. See more Mali R. @maliryann 3d I was so good get five stars pretty good shows really good Zegna pretty good See more Ashlei M @RT84987798 6d Had all the emotions and feels you could have asked for. Only complaint is the episodes and how they where released weeks from each other which made you lose more of the emotion and height than if you where to watch it all at once. Fantastic otherwise, a nostalgic happy show to re watch See more Read all reviews
