John B @jbing May 18 Enough magic to still get 5 stars. There is a new couple who are so awkward and yet they have, seriously, the best kiss ever recorded. The train woman gets a little time and she is always a mood boost. Abbey is great as always. All in all, it is the music and animal shots that save the show this season. You can start at the 48th minute of episode 5 through the beginning of the next episode 6. If that doesn't do it for you, nothing here will. It's really hard to live up to early seasons. Conner meeting Georgie and the train woman finding Tina. Just such magical people. And the Australian version was so great. So this is a slight drop off from earlier perfection. Families are a great part of the show. Madison's Dad, Conner's Mom and Logan's twin are stand-outs. But this season just didn’t appeal to me in the same way that its predecessors did. While I know aspects of the show have always been scripted for audience appeal, it seemed more blatant in this season. Certain situations and conversations were obviously set up, or encouraged in the least (I have a hard time believing that the Conner/Dani conversation in the final episode was spontaneous…it seemed created to satisfy audience curiosity). I also thought this season relied too heavily on recurring cast members instead of having mostly new faces. While still charming, I think LOTS has simply run its course for me.
