A visually dazzling space odyssey that's carried along effortlessly by the gravitational pull of Ryan Gosling at his most winning, Project Hail Mary is a near-miraculous fusion of smarts and heart.

At 2½ hours plus, it also has its longueurs but there are some spectacularly beautiful moments and Gosling makes an engaging companion who makes something poignant as well as funny out of Grace’s unwelcome elevation to hero status. Go to Full Review

Despite its nearly two-and-a-half-hour runtime, this story of friendship and science fiction is truly a unique adventure—one that managed to translate admirably to the silver screen. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Erin S 1h One of the best movies I've seen a long time. Did justice to the book without being overbearing about it. See more Isaac 5h It was a terribly pessimistic movie on humankind. I think this movie thought it was profound, but it was anything but profound. It couldnt decide: humanity shall unite together, or will it rip each other apart. Is it worth saving or participating in? Greatly disappointing when compared to fellow space movies. See more KE 6h I don't get movies like this. They seem to have no heart or soul. I'm supposed to feel something about the friendship between Ryan Gosling (who is good in everything he does) and a rock-spider from outer space? I didn't. Seemed 45 minutes too long too. See more Brielle 6h Loved everything especially the length of the movie!!! See more Michael C 9h This was above average which in today's cinema translates to Oscar talk. Ryan Gosling was fine. The Martian was a much better movie. See more Selena 11h The beginning was strong, but it lost its intrigue. I was bored during the rest. See more Read all reviews
