It is still generous with the blood-letting, the headshots, the bone breaks and the brutality. That makes it distinct in the generally sanitised MCU as an adult drama that not looking to play nice. Go to Full Review

This reluctance to fully own the brutal realities that these shows are taking pains to depict is untenable. Go to Full Review

The first season of Jessica Jones, from 2015, remains essential viewing, more influenced by feminism and film noir than comic books. She’s a welcome new lens for Daredevil. Go to Full Review

In its sophomore season it’s a mixed bag—dreary, heavy, and questionable, even when it delivers a number of great episodes and moments. Go to Full Review

Carlos L @RT93066181 2h This second season was SENSATIONAL!!! The last episode was FANTASTIC!!!! Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio's performances in the final episode were breathtaking. Congratulations and come to the third season!!! See more Biff M @Crazytrain 2h It starts out with a bang. Fisk is in power and rules. They battle throughout the season. Then it goes out with a fizzle. A little girl convinces a cop whose committed the most egregious crimes he c was wrong and the cop turns over a new leaf in 2 seconds. Then Kingpin kills protesters and nothing happens to him. The protesters are stopped by Daredevil after Fisk killed a bunch of them by telling v then to stop. The mob doesn't hear you in real life. They hear rage. They don't stop in real life. It was so bad See more Hughe J @Hughe 2h Daredevil: Born Again S2 was released on streaming in 2026 and stars the same cast as S1 with Charlie Cox reprising his role as Daredevil and Vincent D'Onofrio as Kingpin being the standouts. We also get some appearances by other Marvel characters like Bullseye, Jessica Jones, Muse, White Tiger, Punisher and even Luke Cage in the last episode. For the majority of the season Daredevil is in hiding attempting to counter Kingpin's moves in locking down NYC. Bullseye, who killed Daredevil's best friend, aids him throughout the season for some reason and Jessica Jones also joins in the later episodes. The fight scenes were choppy like S1 and didn't flow like the Netflix version of the same character. Lots of girl bossing with silly courtroom scenes and cartoonishly evil corrupt officers that apparently forgot everyone records everything didn't help. But Cox and D'Onofrio were good in their roles and while the ending was pretty anti-climatic it was still better than S1, so there's that. See more NerdCall T @nerdcall 4h Daredevil: Born Again finally seems to understand who it needs to be. After a first season caught between nostalgia and a fear of taking risks, the series returns much more confident, brutal, and, above all, more interested in letting Matt Murdock exist beyond the costume. And perhaps that is the biggest success: there is finally balance. The lawyer, the vigilante, the political conflicts, the chaos in the streets, and even the courtroom scenes now seem to be part of the same series—something the first season clearly failed to achieve. The violence returns with a vengeance, Fisk finally poses a real threat, and the series embraces a political tone that suits the character far better than Marvel would probably like to admit. It hasn’t quite reached Netflix’s level yet, but for the first time, you can sense that it’s forging its own path. And honestly? That’s exactly what was missing. See more Enrique R. @NostalgicNerd 4h I thought this season was good, and action packed. The rivalry between Kingpin and Daredevil is very interesting. Cinematography wise, it looks well shot. The action sequences and the gore is so entertaining to watch. Especially that Diner scene. The finale was amazing too, as a life long Daredevil fan, this ending was fascinating to me. But, overall, I give Daredevil Born Again Season 2 a B+ or a 8.5/10. See more Garry A @heavyg 5h The similarities to the Trump administration come to mind from the beginning. It becomes a compelling us vs them plot. Multiple superheros and multiple plot twists makes this season a must see. See more Read all reviews
