Tim Grierson Screen International An action film about a hyper-violent reality contest that quickly devolves into a monotonous series of hand-to-hand combat scenes. Jul 23, 2008 Full Review Mark Holcomb Time Out The Condemned sprays its fury wide: media manipulators, political opportunists and technology-pacified couch potatoes are among the collaterally damaged. Paying audiences don't get off so easy either. Rated: 3/6 Sep 22, 2007 Full Review Marc Bernardin Entertainment Weekly Cheesy enough to satisfy your B-movie cravings in half Grindhouse's running time. Rated: B- May 3, 2007 Full Review David Keyes Cinemaphile.org One of the most deplorable movie-going experiences of my life. Rated: 0/4 Nov 9, 2019 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed There's nothing wrong with enjoying a balls to the wall guy film where muscle bound behemoths blow shit up and fight to the death... Rated: 3/4 Sep 7, 2008 Full Review Jeff Bayer The Scorecard Review The film even attempts to make moral judgments about how watching a fight to the death is wrong, which ends up alienating anybody that sat their butt down in the theater in the first place. Cameron L This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen with it cynical preachy message about nonviolence, when it's being so hypocritical using a ton of violence. Plus this movie is super unpleasant to get through with two attempted/successful sexual assaults in the entire movie, plus the acting is abysmal Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/13/23 Full Review T T This is a terrible steaming pile of mediocrity and bs. Some of the worst acting I have ever seen- seriously. I have seen rusty nails and bricks with better acting skills, more charisma, and likeability than these actors. Asinine plot, storyline, and script. The dumbest dialogue ever. Even the action scenes are boring. Overall, this is an unbelievable, unconvincing, unrealistic, and stupid movie from start till finish. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/20/23 Full Review Carlos T Minha opinião: É um filme onde um empresário quer lucrar com as apostas on line no mundo todo. E assim começa a competição. Roteiro e enredo fracos. Vale apena assistir? Não Nota: 3 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked the concept of the movie and it is similar to Arnies Running Man. Did you know that former World kick Boxing champion Sam Greco was Steve Austins double, when they jump from the helicopter it was Sam jumping. The movie was shot in Queensland Australia. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed the movie, am I correct in thinking it's loosely based on a Japanese movie called "Battle Royale"? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review jelisije j Had the opportunity to be great, but some storylines were introduced in the middle of the film that no one will care for that really drags this film down Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
