Audience Member While very campy, Ray Wise does a great job as always. The writing and dialogue is bad but the movie provides a great look at mid 1980's ideas of technology. The movie is a very poor man's Escape from L.A. It is funny and entertaining quick watch of a time period in a capsule. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Laura Palmer's dad, Ray Wise, stars in this failed TV pilot about a crime fighter in a semi-futuristic Los Angeles (it's the future because lots of people drive three-wheeled cars) going up again master criminal The Black Widow. This show make "Knight Rider" look like "Star Wars." Oh, and he also has a beautiful android partner to help him. Cheap, even by TV standards and just plain boring. Barely entertaining even on an ironic level. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
