At first I thought this was another attempt to cash in on "the artist" but as someone in this field, it was good to see what even a great goes through. at the end when he was trying to stay working by updating his style. was something I can relate to. Many artists quit to sell cars at some point, you got to really want this job, because the rewards are not forthcoming. Spending hours drawing in a tiny house in the middle of nowhere. That actually would be the best job ever!

If you only see one documentary about R. Crumb, watch the other one instead.

Sometimes I just slept during this documentary. Robert Crumb is really spontaneous.
