It’s still fun, though, and very spooky, in a way that will most definitely leave fans of the genre satisfied, regardless of relating to the meatiness of the film. Go to Full Review

[Co-directors Robert Livings and Randy Nundlall Jr.] fulfil the brief of finding convincing frights within the short-film form and binding it all together with a wrap-around narrative logic. Go to Full Review

Ricky R @tweektweaks Dec 11 Genuinely what the fuck is this movie even about See more Jason W Sep 29 Too silly and tries to mix scares with fart jokes. I quit after the dude with the go pros has diarrhea in the bathroom stall. Not for me. See more Lloyd S Sep 29 A compilation of possessions that doesn't scare at all. The last tape looked copied by the videogame Outlast 2. Not much effort was put in this film. See more G. R Aug 17 If you want a scary anthology, check out early VHS series films. The conjuring tapes feels like a made for TV horror film. The actors are reused throughout, inexplicably. Primary background dialogue is either domestic strife between characters we know nothing about, or web media personalities talking about footage and viewers. The acting from the main characters is respectable, but 'almost' all the extras with dialogue have that cheap "pretending" not to act vibe. That combined with the usual horror tropes of never trying to call the police or find any bystanders to help really puts it into the stinker bin. At the end the main connecting story isn't even fleshed out, so it relies entirely on the strength of the sub stories. If youre only in it to be tantalized its alright, but not for a horror satisfaction. See more Hasan A Aug 16 The beginning of the story has no connection whatsoever so ever with the whole plot. Confusing story and poorly executed scenes. Giving the stars only for the few jump scares. Absolutely waste of money! See more Sheri R Aug 3 I enjoyed it. It's not really for the hardcore horror fan though. It's shown in vignettes that the two main characters are watching on a found video. They're on the tape but can't remember the events having occurred. Definitely has a creepy factor to it. See more Read all reviews
