Richard Roeper Ebert & Roeper It's beyond dreadful. It's jaw-droppingly bad. Mar 17, 2008 Full Review Brian Orndorf DVDTalk.com Perhaps the Seagals and Van Dammes of the world were too busy, so enter Val Kilmer, and he's going to tear your nuts clean off. Elizabeth N Enjoy it for what it is, a good old fashioned western. Except it's today. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/01/24 Full Review Andrew G Oh the horror. The coolness of the film is its strength. Even though virtually everything between the actual beginning and the end is a reconstructed fabrication, it's blood curdling. I'm not the first to recognize that the Wansee Conference in its sang froid is what's most chilling. A genteel luncheon in which genocide is served. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review bryan b Was better when it was roadhouse. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Always liked Kilmer. Script. C- Acting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review don s A poorly paced thriller with some decent actors in it that just doesn't live up to its potential. MacPherson, Val Kilmer's character, is an ex-marine looking for another vet who invited him to Arizona. Everyone in the town, including law enforcement, acts suspicious and is trying to make him leave. Gee, wonder if something bad happened to his friend. Jennifer Esposito, who usually plays tough women, was fairly wasted her. Still seeing MacPherson take out several officers on only one leg was worth the time to see this.
