Even though virtually everything between the actual beginning and the end is a reconstructed fabrication, it's blood curdling. I'm not the first to recognize that the Wansee Conference in its sang froid is what's most chilling. A genteel luncheon in which genocide is served. MacPherson, Val Kilmer's character, is an ex-marine looking for another vet who invited him to Arizona. Everyone in the town, including law enforcement, acts suspicious and is trying to make him leave. Gee, wonder if something bad happened to his friend. Jennifer Esposito, who usually plays tough women, was fairly wasted her. Still seeing MacPherson take out several officers on only one leg was worth the time to see this. See more Read all reviews
