There are some interesting ideas on offer and 'Consumed' makes the most of its forest and ruins setting. In the end, though, it just nibbles around the edges rather than offering a viewing experience with real bite.

Altieri and Calbert’s combined efforts produce a truly unique take on a folk legend in Consumed, which leads to more and more frustration as the film goes along due to removing this interesting concept from the story for just a bit too long.

beginning was actually alright but when that green sticky snot looking stuff got involved it was kinda dumb, also the monster isnt scary at all unless ur like 5. plot really wasnt allll there lots of questions doesnt really make sense wouldnt reallllyyyy recommend it at all to anyone.

I usually watch movies despite their low ratings so I can judge for myself. I’ve found movie taste is very subjective. I cannot recommend this film and I’m in agreement with the audience. This was the worst movie I’ve seen in 2024 and perhaps running away with the title of worst movie I’ve ever seen. Thin plot, terrible CGI and acting was bad. A waste of $4.99 and straight to “hide” on iTunes library settings.

Filmydrip:Consumed a new Hollywood horror film on Prime Video, directed by Michelle Altieri. The story follows a married couple's weekend getaway to a forest area, where they encounter a mentally unstable individual and a deadly entity. Drawbacks include a predictable storyline and lack of thrills. However, cinematography and locations are impressive. A decent one-time watch, but may not satisfy adventure seekers.
