Audience Member What an awful movie. Full of stereotypes, totally contrived situations, no real plot or finessed performances. A waste of time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Cooking with Stella starts of cute & light-hearted but slowly starts to become more aimless and weak, and unsure of what kind of movie it wants to be, it ends in a jumbled mess. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member amazing movie. a must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Such a sweet film. Indo-Canadian - is that a thing? A film about food and deception. :-) Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member It was ok. Not really about cooking though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Really nice movie. Funny entertaining and close to the Indian culture. The mixing if east and west Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly Rated: D+ Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Andrew Pulver Guardian [An] unexceptional comedy that resembles Deepa's Canadian-Indian hybrids such as Bollywood/Hollywood rather than the heartfelt social-conscience dramas Water and Earth. Rated: 2/5 Apr 14, 2011 Full Review Rick Groen Globe and Mail Meant to be a funny clash of cultures but, suddenly and with scant warning, it turns into a confused clamour of genres. Rated: 2/4 Mar 19, 2010 Full Review Emma Dibdin Total Film Biswas aside, performances are uninspired and director Dilip Mehta mars his third act with a moralising ending that's neither plausible or earned.
