Felt it stayed faithful to the series. Any fan who enjoyed the show, I think they would be happy. They threw in a few bells and whistles cuz it's a movie of a TV show about small town life... Definitely good closure to the series.

In truth, it often plays like a few TV episodes stitched together into 96 minutes, which doesn't work especially well on a big screen. But I have a feeling this won't matter to fans of the show who are dealing with Dog River withdrawal.

Cutting edge it's not, but there is something to be said for a comedy that focuses on Canadianisms like charging 5 for a plastic shopping bag. It's a warm hug from the Prairies and a thank you to the fans that stood by the show.
