William R. P I din't have to watch this to know it's a setup, the coward will be revealed to be a hero in some grand theatrical/movie way Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/24 Full Review Chris M I've heard that song a couple of times and the one thing I don't get from it was World War 2. The makers forget something huge, it was called the Draft. Which means after Pearl Harbor, the choice to enlist or not too was no longer a choice. Pretty much every eligible man was taken, whether you wanted to go or not. Have no idea why they changed the time period when the song is country song and probably would work better as a western, like the Gambler. It's not horrible or unwatchable but it's bad enough to avoid it unless you really love Kenny Rogers and need to see everything he made. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Meh, it's watchable. I'd not seen it since the 80's and decided to give it another look. It's pretty sickly sweet with a script that in places is so clean that it borders on unnatural, but it's an easy watch on a slow afternoon. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member This is my favorite move!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member the song is better than the movie; but I'm glad they made it into a movie. If a group of guys forced themselves on my girl; I'd do more than just beat them up in a bar though. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Very good movie. its one of my favs. :] Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
