Leslie Felperin Guardian While the character animation is not especially winning, neither is it annoying like too many other cartoon features these days Rated: 3/5 Apr 16, 2021 Full Review James Croot Stuff.co.nz An unexpected delight. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 8, 2021 Full Review Jim Schembri jimschembri.com Though the standard of animation here isn't quite the standard we've come to expect after three decades of films from the polished Pixar/Dreamworks/BlueSky/etc school, it's passable enough to conjure some fierce monsters and sell some funny sight gags. [REDACTED] I hate this movie, the way how the animation is looking is bad, same for the plot. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/17/24 Full Review Peter W With some attempts of fun creativity relating to monsters and inventions, bright colour will attract some young audiences for sure. But make no mistake, this is generally a disappointing animation film. With bland visuals, this film struggles to understand who it's been made for, using unusual humour relating to animated violence and childish one-liners. As the credits rolled, I'm unsure if this is best suited for young teens or young kids, or perhaps neither, and that's not a good sign. However, those who enjoy basic animations about the topic of monsters, inventions, witty one-liners, mutants, sci-fi and Mexican references will have some moments of joy here. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/18/23 Full Review Audience Member My movie wasn't that good I did not like the animation was bad and I felt bored most of the film Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought it was ok overall as I enjoyed watching this animated movie with my family, but there wasn't much character development and the story also had some holes in it Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member In one line it's Jimmy Neutron in the Pixar's Monster University. The movie has its pros and cons but what I really like here is color toning, they really did a fantastic job to form a culmination of different cultures with Mexican-American-British-Canadian. The animation has glitches not adequate to compare with big production houses like Disney's. This is one of those film where science project got failed and the roller coaster adventurous thrill ride starts. The dialogues are well-cornered nothing particularly to be remembered for a long time. The moral value provided here is friendship and togetherness. The plot seemed cliched but it is not, it might be very interesting to the kids but after a few chuckles the grown-ups will stop snickering and laughing. You will enjoy this film with the family for a one time happily watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
