Charles Bramesco Movie Mezzanine ...[Crazy Bitches] uses the vessel of a shoddy slasher flick and errs on the side of didacticism. Rated: 1/4 Mar 12, 2015 Full Review Heather Wixson Daily Dead While it may not necessarily be a great film, Crazy Bitches is still moderately entertaining and an admirable effort from Clark who shows a lot of promise here. Audience Member The one good thing Crazy Bitches has going for it is that it subverts a lot of the tropes of the slasher genre, but unfortunately it doesn't subvert them in any noteworthy way. Rather than distracting from the ineptitude of the production, the gestures toward a feminist ethos gloriously accentuates the technical shortcomings of this flick. The unearned plot twists make this a great one to watch as part 2 of a bad movie double feature. I'd only recommend this to the hardcore cinemasochist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member It's not that bad but not great either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Gotta admit, I was a lot more impressed by this one than I was anticipating I would be. A lot. Would I go out of my way to recommend it to anyone? No, not really, but there's some more substance here than you might expect from the title. Maybe not enough for it to be "good" but still a pleasant surprise. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
