Audience Member I love sci fi movies . Especially involving technology and time travel. . Guy was a prick to a very nice girlfriend. She then in turn became terrible back. By the end you hate every one in the movie . 3.1 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/27/20 Full Review Audience Member I wanted to like this one but it went a little too far off the deep end in the end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Like a really long Black Mirror episode but dull. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Bellamente rodada en blanco y negro. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie had a good idea in there somewhere, but ultimately it fails. I spent most of this movie being bored out of my mind. I am surprised that I actually made it all the way to the end. This is not worth your time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member It had a lot of potential, but it's to far up it's own to use any of it. As it progress it seems more of a mediocre film school movie made by the "Starbucks worker" stereotype, than by someone with genuine passion and drive to make movies. It also features one of the worst and most pretentious homages to Kubrick I've ever seen. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

      J. R. Jones Chicago Reader The movie is like Manhattan with mobile phones, and in fact the idea of constructing one's own reality fits right in with the Woody Allenesque tone. Mar 24, 2016 Full Review James Berardinelli ReelViews Creative Control looks more interesting than it is. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 18, 2016 Full Review Tirdad Derakhshani Philadelphia Inquirer While it hits some of the usual sci-fi tropes, Creative Control's center of gravity isn't tech itself, but the relationships of those who use it. Rated: 3.5/4 Mar 18, 2016 Full Review Michael J. Casey Michael J. Cinema Equal parts satire and science fiction, but how Dickinson and his team present these images is what makes a movie about disengaging so engaging. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 7, 2021 Full Review Chris McCoy Memphis Flyer The darkly hilarious Creative Control has too many ideas and too many homages to stuff into 90 minutes, but Dickinson and his collaborators are clearly having a great time trying. Jan 14, 2020 Full Review Mae Abdulbaki Movies with Mae "Creative Control" is arrogant and pretentious in its storytelling, too focused on looking cool and hip and thus making its lead character completely unsympathetic.
