On a remote Scottish island, a young and hobbled man named Fionn (Paul Higgins) discovers Eilidh (Robin McCaffrey), a pretty woman in a boat that has washed up on the shore. Tied up and nearly frozen to death, she finds shelter with Fionn, and begins to recover. Soon the enigmatic woman becomes romantically involved with Fionn. As Eilidh acclimates to island life, she takes an interest in the local fishing industry and rallies other women to help improve the fish population.
