Adonis Johnson (Michael B. Jordan) never knew his famous father, boxing champion Apollo Creed, who died before Adonis was born. However, boxing is in his blood, so he seeks out Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and asks the retired champ to be his trainer. Rocky sees much of Apollo in Adonis, and agrees to mentor him, even as he battles an opponent deadlier than any in the ring. With Rocky's help, Adonis soon gets a title shot, but whether he has the true heart of a fighter remains to be seen.

Flying high once again, Creed is an astonishing surprise that captures the essence of the original Rocky series while making it its own. Stallone returns once more in a mentor role here, and honestly gives one of his best performances in years. Michael B. Jordan's exceptional performance as Adonis separates him Stallone's Rocky in both tone and theme. Rocky was more dopey, good-natured, and the eternal underdog; whereas Adonis is compassionate and utterly insecure, but hides it behinda loner's pride and a quick temper. It makes for such an interesting dynamic after six Rocky films, seeing the two characters interacting and helping each other in a way that connects both generations with such earnest chemistry. The score is kinetic with a hip-hop flair that pops while retaining the spirit of the franchise originals, and the cinematography is impeccable – especially in the final fight. Creed is a wonderful passing of the torch that honors its roots, but paves the way for a new dreamer to go the distance.

Filme bacaninha para mais ou menos, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas são bacaninhas para mais ou menos, a história é mais ou menos, o elenco é mais ou menos, e alguns ajudam a melhorar o filme, os personagens são mais ou menos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, o filme teve a boa atuação do silvester stallone, mas mesmo com isso o filme não alavancou, o filme teve cenas clicês dos filmes do rocky, algumas boas, outras ruins, mas isso não foi o suficiente para ser bom, nem com a cena final que o Adonis creed aguentou os 12 rounds, e não ganhou a porra da luta final

Synopsis
