David B Almost so bad it's good, but not quite. Typical cheezy 1980's B horror. Had nostalgic value for me and Linnea was "smoking!" Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/24 Full Review Sean S Super low budget 1980's horror movie. I have tapped out most of the "C and above" horror movies on Amazon and Netflix recently, so I am tracking down Linnea Quigley movies. She did a good amount of B and lower horror movies in the 1980's and is worth a watch. Sadly, this one is only good for a shower scene of hers... Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/23/23 Full Review justin t This film has it all - there is an apocalypse, an evil alien, giant killer rats, a warehouse and I cannot keep this farce up forever as this movie is truly terrible. It reminded me of Rats: Night of Terror (1984) but is not quite as bad. It is mercifully short. The ending was the most tedious bit with a bloke in one room for like twenty minutes fighting the alien for a few seconds, losing it, looking for it, fighting it again and so on. Then he finally kills the monster however a mutant baby comes along and the whole fight, lose, look, fight thing starts all over again. This is utterly terrible and is only watchable because it is really short. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Only David DeCoteau could make a rip-off of Alien starring Linnea Quigley and Ashlyn Gere* boring. I mean, that's some serious talent right there. Actually, this movie feels more like a rip-off of Rats: The Night of Terror, which is another amazing thing to actually steal from Bruno Mattei. That's like psychologically manipulating Charles Manson. This was so brazen that the tagline was "Move over, Aliens, here come the Creepozoids. Even if you kill them, they're still deadly." Quigley has mentioned that there were supposed to be more sex scenes with hr and the monster, which means that this would have also stolen from Galaxy of Terror. There's a giant baby, a mutant rat and it's the best David DeCoteau I've seen and it still sucks. *Ironically, the actresses switched roles because Ms. Gere, who went on to become one of the biggest stars in adult films ever, was uncomfortable with nudity. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I can't really rate this higher even though it is entertaining. A crappy Aliens rip off with terrible acting which somehow manages to overstay its welcome even at its slender running time of just over 1 hour. That said, there's some alright gore and a decent fight scene and the main alien's costume is laughably bad (as are the giant rats). I'm tempted to go higher for the finale's alien baby but even that goes on a little too long and doesn't make a whole lot of sense. Then again, if you expect a film called 'Creepozoids' to make sense you're probably watching the wrong film. Would make a good late night b-movie watch with some beers and friends to share in the hilarity of it all. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a short (72 minutes), low-budget horror / science-fiction movie with bad acting, limited special effects and one of the 80's-iest soundtrack possible. It can be defined as an amateurish mix between Alien (SCOTT 1979) and Day of the Dead (ROMERO1985). The ending is confusing, but the movie is nonetheless interesting.
