Robert The WORST movie ever... Horrible dialogue, music score is even worse. The acting was atrocious so do not waste your time and money.. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/15/21 Full Review Bob S What a waste of my time. Bad script, bad acting, bad everything. Horrible movie. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/31/23 Full Review chuck h Everyone associated w/this movie should be ashamed. Awful! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review saul l i saw this title on HULU. I love Richard Dreyfus, ( my favorite movie is 'Let It Ride') and the other actors in the cast were people that I am familiar with. However with all these talented actors, this sucked!!!!. I don't know what the point was, too many subplots, daughter in the hospital, crooked politician, other daughter a cop. Question: Why does Pruitt Taylor Vince always seems to play the 'slow' character? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/17/22 Full Review Audience Member This was one of the better crime movies of the decade. I totally forgot I was in a movie theatre. Richard Dreyfuss should win an Academy Award. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member The writing is atrocioius. I'm so tired of unfinished sentences, interrupted explanations that leave the viewer hanging for no apparent story-telling reason. Watching Richard Dreyfuss overcome a young, muscled man in a struggle for a gun stretches the imagination, all the while wondering so many times...why? Weak storyline, unbelievable relationships-detective/congressional aide/crime-boss daughter/sister of dying woman. Please just get to the point. The waiting isn't even breath-holding worthy, and certainly not worthy of the talents of Dreyfuss and Sorvino. Don't waste your time. Leslie Felperin Guardian The poor actors seem to be performing in quite different movies half the time, and it's hard to work out what Lipsius is trying to say with all these maudlin, roughly sketched storylines. Rated: 2/5 Aug 25, 2021 Full Review Dennis Harvey Variety Worse things have happened to Oscar winners, but it's still unfortunate to see both Richard Dreyfuss and Mira Sorvino flailing in the inept muddle of "Crime Story." Aug 13, 2021 Full Review Niall Browne Movies in Focus Good performances from the leads and a few complex plot points mean that The Last Job delivers unique ideas which bump it up above the average revenge thriller. Rated: 3/5 Sep 1, 2021 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru Dull, clunky and contrived. Rated: 2.84/10 Aug 26, 2021 Full Review Daniel M. Kimmel North Shore Movies More than a shoot 'em up, this is a thriller that doesn't only offer action, but offers some satisfying reflection on the human condition as well. Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 26, 2021 Full Review Jackie K. Cooper jackiekcooper.com Good to see Dreyfus on the big screen but this script isn't equal to his talents.
