John Petrakis Chicago Tribune Less a pure documentary than it is a fact-finding mission, with the real story waiting to be presented somewhere down the line. Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 26, 2002 Full Review Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle Comes off as less a 'quest for truth' than an extended example of preaching to the converted. Rated: 2/5 Sep 18, 2002 Full Review Jonathan Curiel San Francisco Chronicle Gazecki's film is so journalistically flawed and needlessly melodramatic that it will be treasured only by those who share his singular vision. Rated: 0/4 Sep 17, 2002 Full Review Jae-Ha Kim Jae-Ha Kim William Gazecki's latest documentary, "Crop Circles: Quest for Truth," is an ambitious project that attempts to tackle the mystery behind crop circles. But the dimly-filmed picture would work better as a weeklong series of documentaries on cable. Rated: 1/4 Jul 27, 2023 Full Review Film Threat Rated: 3/5 Dec 6, 2005 Full Review James O'Ehley Movie Gurus This documentary's subtitle of 'quest for truth' is a misnomer because its director isn't particularly interested in the truth at all. Audience Member a thorough review of the facts and not pandering to skeptics like Wikipedia consistently does. This mystery is not explained. Don't be lazy and find out for yourself what the truth is. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The best documentary on the phenomena that I know of. A lot of genuine intelligent people from many different disciplines are interviewed for this documentary. The differing opinions on crop circles is really refreshing in that it shows no one has given up and "all are human hoaxes" or "it must be supernatural." The fact that so much legitimate research has been done with no resulting answer is most intriguing. A lot of great footage, but very amateurish at times - don't be scared to ask for a second take if the lighting, sound or other conditions aren't ideal (also, don't let your interviewee smoke)! Included in the DVD is a compilation of crop circles which are fun to look at - for some reason they make me happy while looking at the "symbols." Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member I had no idea that this phenomenon was so wide spread! Now I really want one to appear right next to my home :) P.S. I think aliens exist! :D Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
