You can see the ending coming from a mile away, so sitting through the whole movie just feels like waiting for a plot that already announced itself. The soap-opera acting makes it even duller and harder to endure. See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch 5 days ago Cruise Ship Murder is a Lifetime movie that I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt because I do think some Lifetime films are underrated and can deliver surprisingly good stories. Unfortunately, this one was very lackluster. The story, direction, and constant back-and-forth made everything feel disconnected. Nothing really built toward genuine suspense or made me feel invested in what was happening. Instead, it felt like the movie was rushing through the story without giving the characters or the mystery enough time to develop. The acting was also a major weakness. With the exception of the lead actress, the performances felt flat and didn’t add much to the overall experience. Ultimately, Cruise Ship Murder felt like a waste of time for me. It unfortunately lives up to the stereotype of a poorly made Lifetime movie, with a weak screenplay, lack of suspense, and underwhelming performances. I wouldn’t recommend this one. Some of the characters actions seemed silly & the antagonist kept popping up in the most unlikely places. Could have been a lot better with a bit more professional polish.
