deke p ALL STAR CAST, 5or6 big names! High tension and drama. Prescient in that this 1950s movie featured demand for money or BOMB aboard a passenger plane would be detonated. But that was almost forgot as the plot became more of a kidnap/hostage/ransom delivery plot. Very interesting and involved. But 1950s style movies often do not age well, and this one suffers from studio settings in rooms and often melodramatic. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Quality suspenser with James Mason and Inger Stevens the parents of a kidnapped child held for ransom. Taut scripting and direction and excellent performances from the all but particularly Inger make this very involving. Angie is a hissable villianess to bad she didn't get to play that aspect more. Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine [A] crisp, tightly plotted suspense thriller. It was written, directed and co-produced by the versatile Andrew L.
