Surprisingly bad. Errol Flynn and Barbara Stanwyck had not one iota of chemistry. Neither character was remotely interesting or likable. They genuinely looked like they might have truly hated each other in real life. All other characters forgettable.

I usually have doubts about murder/mystery movies that are not Alfred Hitchcock productions, but this movie was excellent and perhaps equal to any Alfred Hitchcock movie I have seen. The movie is not easily predictable and the end was completely unexpected. Both Errol Flynn and Barbara Stanwyck put on great performances.
