A group of strangers wakes up in a sealed room with no means of escape. The eight people -- Kate (Kari Matchett), Simon (Geraint Wyn Davies), Sasha (Grace Lynn Kung), Max (Matthew Ferguson), Jerry (Neil Crone), Julia (Lindsey Connell), Mrs. Paley (Barbara Gordon) and Col. Maguire (Bruce Gray) -- must find their way out of the room. But more rooms await them, and each one is increasingly dangerous. Also, it appears physical laws do not apply in this strange and deadly environment.

O mais fraco da srie, este filme praticamente ignora a maior parte dos conceitos que tornaram o original to interessante (como as armadilhas) e ainda conta com um elenco homogeneamente ruim. Go to Full Review

Zy S 01/02/2025 There is a lot of potential with the main idea of this movie but the execution was terrible. When you have unrealistic technology like this, it's not necessary to talk about how it happens scientifically or mathematically, because one: it's not true anyways, and two: the audience doesn't care anyways. The why however, is a lot more important. It really adds a lot of depth to this movie if the purpose of the Hypercube was explained. Having the characters not remember anything and nothing explained just seems like lazy and uncreative screenwriting, and I think the film makers were aware of this due to their over emphasis of selling the math that "explained" the technology of the hypercube's capabilities - but failed for the aforementioned two reasons. When a movie has a plot that is heavily dependent on something that isn't grounded in reality (i.e. time travel, shifting dimensions, paranormal activities, etc.) explaining the why is a lot more important and ignoring the how is a given and acceptable. It seems like many directors don't understand this concept. What would have been better would have to given the backstory of the hypercube and the reason for putting people in it, and perhaps even showing the kidnappings. Would have made the series much more successful and more directors would have wanted to build up on it. See more Slick R @SlickReviewer 07/14/2024 Not as good as the original. See more Giovana L 03/26/2024 Com certeza um dos piores filmes que ja vi. See more Joshua H 01/26/2024 Hypercube Is not the best sequel, all the talk about math and shapes and physics will make one very confused upon viewing, but it's interesting at the least See more Slightly G 12/14/2023 A couple of real interesting scenes, ideas and plot twists. However, the characters are so dull and boring, and the dialogues are so stupid and redundand that it ruins every good concept this movie attempts to implement. Otherwise it would be a really good low budget sci-fi thriller. Even an ugly CGI would be tolerable should the script be a bit more developed. If you want to give this movie a crack then skip till about 40 minute mark. The first half is pretty boring and even irrelevant. See more Read all reviews
