When a young security guard takes a job following a woman fighting the media blackout, he is sucked into a larger conspiracy involving a plot hatched by the "1 Percent" and a weird cult from the 1900's that worshipped Dream Demons called The Others.

Diamond W This is a fairly interesting, minimal-budget affair. It is pure exploitation (with copious reference to current media, political trends and conspiracy theory) which mixes faux-documentary, intellectual thriller and creepy, occult horror somewhat successfully. There are some bits that are slow with a lot of expository dialogue and not much to look at, but they do lead to engaging concepts, with good production value providing a genuine sense of dread. It forces a choice between getting lost in the dark woods or being caught in an apocalyptic nightmare, with something purposefully feeding on your fear no matter where you end up. The boundaries between waking life and nightmare become permanently blurry. Or is it all just a test? Unique and effective. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/17/23 Full Review Larry J I liked this movie. Unknown actors did well. Premise had me wanting to know more. Had some creepy aspects which were fun. I wish the ending was more clear, but that's the way it is with many movies. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/29/23 Full Review Deana C We thoroughly enjoyed CoN for the cerebral slow burn it is! Its gritty medium and incidental-to-COVID-19 storyline pair beautifully with a believable cast and ending that makes you hope for a sequel. Watch it!
