This Hallmark Mystery movie series is better than most. It was adapted from the Goldy Schulz cozy mystery series by Diane Mott Davidson. The leads and supporting cast did a good job with the script they were given. The mystery was well-plotted. I am looking forward to watching more of these.

I like the lead actors. The problem is this movie strays too far away from the series it's based on and the characters. A lot of the fun in the books is missing. Both leads are nothing like the characters in the series.
