Excellent movie (especially for a Lifetime film). Explores difficult topics with a lot of heart and nuance by forgoing the typical "blatant hero vs. blantent villain" formula Lifetime is known for. Characters speak and act in a natural and underplayed way that adds a layer of realism that keeps the viewer engaged.

Terrible movie. I was excited that Viola Davis is in it, but it was very disappointing. There were way too many storylines that led to nowhere and were never resolved. The female attorney was played by Hayden, and she was a very unlikable character. She was frowning the entire movie. This movie was a total mess. It's like they ran out of time so they just threw in the only scenes they had time to film, and then just ended it. Waste of time, even for viola Davis fans. Definitely not her best work.
