      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

A mirthless, fairly desperate family film, Daddy Day Camp relies too heavily on bodily functions for comedic effect, resulting in plenty of cheap gags but no laughs.

Mark M A good movie for kids but not enjoyable for older ages. To me, the characters are annoying and the acting is unconvincing. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review Melissa D This is such a weird sequel to Daddy Day Care because that was such a classic and was really well done. Daddy day camp definitely had less of a budget but it was still a VERY enjoyable family movie. It was just easy to watch and a bit of a laugh. I'd watch it again and I don't even like movies. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review Stephen C F**king piece of sh*t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Red T Worst than the first one. The acting is bad, the grandfather colonel is out of place, Phil & Charlie give lazy performances with terrible slapstick and juvenile gross out gags. The kids lack any charm at all and no one has any chemistry. The villian is just as stupid as the first. The cinematography is bad as well. The camerawork is basic and uninspired, every other shot is filled with gross out humor or toilet jokes and the location is boring as well. The music isn't that good even for just being generic overall, it feels like its just the same as the first but it doesn't fit as "well" (use that term very loosely). The editing isn't good and the pacing is terrible. Things just happen and half this movie is montages. The kids half the time don't even have arks outside of the bed wetter, Ben I guess learning to climb and the stupid love story. Skip this completely even if you somehow "Liked" the first one. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Regal R 70/100 - old slapstick comedy. dont listen to the critics who rate it 1 star and say "the color tint is cheap" Like???? What are they on? its an old film made for kids. its a family comedy.... its an entire genre that lasted for over a decade. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Finn P What started of off as a franchise that I actually like, this films was filled with potty dumor, bad jokes, children jokes, and obiviously bad cast changes.
