Audience Member Dag is a good example for an efficient war movie, as only few locations, characters, and action scenes are featured. By creating an impressive scenery, the movie does give the viewer a sense of the dread the two main characters are facing. It's basically an independent movie, shot on a low budget with a small crew, and amateur actors; the lack of production values often shows and the actors often don't carry the more complex scenes. Generally, though, the characters are authentic and relatable, and the dialogues are mostly well-written. Together with the amazing scenery and the decent pacing, this makes for a worthwhile experience. However, the viewer should keep the nationalist perspective in mind.
