04/19/2020 Only Fools Fall in Love Maybe yes for me See more 01/26/2011 Mid-1990s (or 1997, exactly) was the watershed to Hong Kong in every aspect, including the entertainment business. As for Hong Kong Cinema, differences (alias: shift!) were obvious & huge on systems like studios, directing/writing, actors (or stardom, precisely), quality & quantity, scale & style, market's reaction, etc etc. < Only Fools Fall In Love > was just another example indicating the stuck-situation of the industry back then.
