Damaged isn’t trying to be a meme, it’s playing things completely straight... That sincerity, and the apparent genuine commitment of top-tier performers like Jackson, is what makes this ripely absurd film at least half-worth watching.

Ein Film der genauso grausam zu den Zuschauern ist wie der Mörder in ihm zu den Opfern. Schon nach 25 Minuten ist die Handlungslogik ( unlogik) klar und es entwickelt sich die Hoffnung auf ein entschaedigendes Ende. Leider werden alle schlechten Vorahnungen bestätigt und lassen den Zuschauer leergesaugt zurück. Kein Schauspieler der sein Repertoire auch nur aufblitzen laesst. Eine vorhersehbare Story mit steter Unlogik in der die Protagonisten ihre festen Plätze schon am Anfang zugewiesen bekommen. Schade....
