The problem is the story. They didnt try, they didnt know what they wanted and they suffered for it. This film could have been great if they got to the point in the first 5, 10, 15 minutes but they wasted too much time on storylines that didnt even go anywhere only to end it as if there would be a sequel. Unfortunately the sequel should have been this movie. If the dampyr is so important why didn't we see any of that until the end? The special effects are laughable, the acting is school play-esque and the plot is unimaginative and entirely predictable.
