Ex-con and reformed sociopath Dylan Forrester (Scott Eastwood) is trying to quietly serve out his parole -- with the help of a steady supply of antidepressants and his eccentric psychiatrist (Mel Gibson). But when his brother dies under mysterious circumstances, Dylan breaks parole and, with a dogged FBI agent (Famke Janssen) on his trail, goes to uncover the truth. There isn't an awful lot about David Hackl's Dangerous that feels remotely original, least of all its stale, generic title that can't help but feel tragically ironic when the finish product is one that plays things entirely safe

It only got 30% Rotten Tomatoes, it wasn’t that bad. I’d’ve liked to have seen more of Dylan’s character and his interaction with his Dr. It was a sketch really with a plot that wasn’t too unusual but it had tension, a little humour and some action. I only went to my phone once, so kept me fairly interested. Just wanted more development, which was impossible considering the time it takes. Take a punt.

I know that all the boxes aren't checked for so-called top critics. I don't care. Mostly, they over analyze and are subjective as they look at the cast. I enjoyed this movie. I think the humor sneaks around the corner walls of suspense. Famkke provided info for the story but that was okay; just not what is usually expected for her talent. All in all, the acting was perfect for the story. My husband criticized it; but, he is stuck on the 1,2,3 adventure formula. I needed a feeling of escape entertainment, and it delivered.

Unfortunately, if you have some experience with horror or psycological movies, then this one is very predictable not mentioning the plot itself. Not a masterpiece but you can watch it if you want to burn some time.

Dangerous is nearly unwatchable. I should have known better when I saw Tyrese in the cast and a synopsis that read, "a reformed sociopath". Scott Eastwood may be the worst actor outside of a children’s play, that I’ve ever seen. The acting is so horrible I had to replay some scenes over due to his comically robotic portrayal of a sociopath.
