I see this as a must see due to the real life woman his movie was based on… & it's pretty neat that she currently offers how to build your own Arc consultations … there was a good quote in this movie I heard that really resonates " Man is nature, nature man - one and the same"

I've seen this movie twice on netflix. As a landscape designer, it has special appeal. Outside of that, it's a sweet story based on real events, and the real Mary Reynolds is now an internationally renowned garden designer! It's message of forest conservation and forest gardens is an important one!

It's a nice story and concept and the lead actress is good, but the desperation she portraits was hard to watch. It's hard to watch the male lead treat her so poorly for so long and have her still fall all over herself for him. It's a terrible example for young women to see in a film and if it is accurately based on the original person then he's a terrible human being in real life. It also doesn't help that the actor playing him in the movie comes across, himself as an actor, as being pretentious, which makes you despise the character even more. His exceptionally smug look was very hard to watch. This movie also starting out way too rushed and lacked a lot of character development. It was really hard to watch.
