Brad P I mean, it wasn't terrible, and it starts out pretty strong and has a neat premise. I can see how a lot of people might like this one, but it just didn't do a lot for me. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/04/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the definition of a gem, though I can easily see how it got lost. This isn't a horror film. It's a supernatural drama that's a surprising story of faith: an honest, believing rendering of 1970's Magick and New Age occultism, and one character's spiritual awakening. The characters are terrifically rendered for a movie of this type, the script is terrific, it errs on the side of subtlety and ambiguity and the quasi-experimental musical score is brilliant.
