There's only one problem with the idyllic, happy life of young Susan (Thora Birch) : She keeps having bad dreams about a sexual deviant and murderer who has been dubbed the Night Stalker. Meanwhile, whenever she is visiting her dark fantasy world, she appears to be a very different person -- her name is Karen, and her hair color is not the same -- and she works as a mortuary assistant. As the killer closes in, Susan starts to wonder where the dream ends and reality begins.

David Nusair Reel Film Reviews ...another tedious, egregiously confusing horror flick that seems to be aiming for a David Lynchian sort of tone but instead winds up an entirely interminable piece of work. Rated: .5/4 May 27, 2007 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member filming is good, acting not bad. story is weak. the flow is all over the place. however for a b film I guess its worth watching once. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member A lame, 'girl cursed with nightmares' movie or... *spoiler*? A serial killer's hell, reliving his and his last victims nightmares? Idk. Wasn't scary either way Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member What the fuck was this? It made absolutely no sense, something about a woman being chased by creatures, but the plot goes between scenes that will make your head spin from confusion. The only memorable part is a morgue worker comparing breaking a dead guy's dick to breaking a carrot. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member If not for Thora Birch this movie may have been intolerable. Sound effects were nicely done though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Dark Corners wants so much to be a David Lynch flim like Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, or Inland Empire, but it is not willing to either completely go off the rails or adopt an artful aesthetic. Therefore, it just becomes a somewhat tedious exercise in psychological world swapping with a twist ending that will surprise few people. Moderately entertaining, Dark Corners is still not as clever as it thinks it is. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Thora Birch stars in Dark Corners about woman who can't escape her bad dreams. The line begins to blur between reality and the horror that lives in her mind, making everyone wonder what's really happening. I had mixed reviews about the whole movie, because in the beginning it starts off so strong but the 'surprise ending' wasn't just confusing it was really bogus.
