Stein S Rotten? No, much worse. Horribly overrated piece of bovine manure. You will find better entertainment watching paint dry. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Audience Member this movie is really good to make fun of with friends Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Imagine you're watching a movie where people are watching a campy 80's slasher movie about a bunch of teenagers making bad choices and then getting killed. This movie is that movie! (The one they're watching in the movie.) It even had an awesome 80's score. The only thing is these characters have cell phones. And there's not gratuitous nudity. Otherwise... if you loved campy 80's slasher movies, you will love Dark Forest. Good times! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This indie slasher film delivers the thrills and tension in spades. When Emily sneaks of to go on a camong trip wiht her girlfriends, her possessive boyfriend Peter snaps.Definitely one to watch this spooky season! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Dark Forest is a horror/slasher film that is about a group of friends who go on a camping trip that goes horribly wrong. It reminds me of horror films from the '80s. It doesn't take itself too seriously and pays tribute to the old films with promiscuous couples and gnarly over-the-top kills. Fun movie in the genre. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Dark Forest is a slasher flick about a group of friends who go on a camping trip deep in the woods when one by one they start getting killed. The film is definitely a throwback to old school horror movies and I appreciated little stylistic choices like having a grainy film stock look to emulate those films of the 70s and 80s. Dark Forest is an indie horror film and, being that it is an homage to those older horror films, is full of promiscuous young couples, bikini clad women, and over-the-top bloody kills. I had a lot of fun watching this film and I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates a throwback indie horror movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
